For years I was a very driven TN news reporter and anchor spending the last 5 years at ABC 24/UPN 30. My life revolved around my career. Then I met my husband Scott and I slowed down a little bit. Not until I became a mom did I realize there was more to my life than breaking news stories, exclusive interviews and reporting awards. I am proud of my achievements, but my greatest reward is being a mother to my son Jackson.

I hope my children will think I was a giving human being. I hope they will appreciate the blessings they have and look to give back to God and the community in some way. Everyday I find a way to help someone else whether it's raising money for non-profit, volunteering for a community project or just being there for a friend in need. You can't go through life taking all the wonderful blessings given to you and not share some with others.
